Dreams. What are they made of? Sweet memories, pulsating desires or terrible fears? These seem to be the questions made by photographer Alejandro Cartagena to his sleeping models on the Sueño series.
Using the body as an expressive medium, the Dominican show us a few leads about his women’s dreams. Contortions, poses and colors suggest the plots and narratives that populate their sleep, sometimes quiet, sometimes agitated, but always intriguing.
