What would you do if you won the lottery? Would you buy mansions, big cars, yachts, works of art? Artists Lauren Was and Adam Eckstrom, better known as Ghost of a Dream, decided to explore the desires of those who keep dreaming about winning the game. In order to do that, they create sculptures of luxury goods using discarded lottery tickets.
One especially interesting point is that the pieces are worth their real price, since the total sum of the tickets’ value matches the market values of the depicted objects. The series brings up the insane fortunes people waste on lottery dreams.
