Directed by Mike Petty, the video No Joy shows images of an amusement park that is not really amusing.
Located in Kansas, Joyland was founded in 1949 and has been completely abandoned since 2004. What used to be a space full of people is now a land without life or public. The beautiful shots taken of the dusty equipment and the forgotten ludic architecture brings us a sensation of happiness that for a very long doesn’t belong to the place.
Check it out.
