Maurizio Anzeri is an Italian artist who lives and works in London. There he develops his beautiful series – somewhat bizarre, it’s true – of experimental photographs. His works, however, owe less to photography than to sewing and embroidery, since its basis is the modification of old photos through needles and threads, creating patterns and graphics over the faces of portrayed people.
