Decorated Japanese manholes
» Cool Reading / by Zupi

Although manholes have a big role on the great urban machinery, these heavy metal shapes usually pass by unnoticed on our daily routines. But things are different on the other side of the world.

On his project Drainspotting, English Remo Camerota collects images of diverse beautifully decorated Japanese manholes. The pictures were also gathered on the Drainspotting Book and featured in an exclusive iPad/iPhone app.
