The oil leaked into the Gulf of Mexico a few weeks ago has shocked society and moved environmentalist. Despite the disaster have killed 11, the collective Ubermorgen saw the leak as an expression of art and they have created the project Deep Horizon. The group finally has been evolved into oil painting art bio-generative. “A dynamic process of the public art around the world accompanied live” they conclude.
The collective images captured from the Gulf of Mexico and manipulated with software, turning, in fact, the disaster into art. Do you agree with them?
